Points bonus

Extra credit

You’ll have several options for what you can do for extra credit. You can combine them if you’d like to get up to 2.5 bonus points on your FINAL course grade. (After everything is all added up at the end of the semester, the points will be added onto your grade.) Si vous avez des questions, contactez-moi !

• Bonus expression écrite (instructions). If you do this and turn it in before or at the final exam, you can make up for your lowest grade in class (including a zero) for almost anything. Please click to see details.

• Table francophone (flyer) — a weekly French conversation table where you can listen to other students and teachers talk, try out the French you know, and earn bonus points. This semester, the last Table francophone will be Wednesday Dec. 3 from 10:30-11:30 am in the Student Lounge, room Jones 241. You’ll can get up to 0.5 points on your final course grade for each time you attend and participate, up to 2.5 points. If you want extra credit, make sure you sign in.
• French club (flyer) — participate in different fun activities with the new French club. The next meeting of the semester will be the 2nd game night on Wed, Oct. 22 at 4-5 pm in the Student Lounge (Jones 241). There will be food and prizes. Other meeting times and activities will be announced in class and/or posted on here, so be sure to check back. They also have a Facebook group you can join here to see what they’re up to! If you want extra credit, make sure you can give some sort of proof of being there (sign-in sheet, pictures, etc.)
• Film festival (flyer, instructions for extra credit) — the film festival this semester ran on select dates from Nov. 3 – Nov. 11. Unless you have a valid excuse, the deadline to turn this in has already passed.
