AMUM to host digital biodiversity artist lecture

As part of the all-digital exhibition “In 7, 6, 5…”, The Art Museum at The University of Memphis will host a Zoom talk between biologist Dr. McKenna, artist Catt Weglicki, and artist/biologist Brandon Ballengée about their work in raising awareness and promoting biodiversity next Monday, June 1 at noon.

The three speakers will talk about different aspects of their work, then there will be an opportunity for viewers to ask questions and learn more about specific projects they’re involved in.

“In 7, 6, 5…” is an ongoing main gallery exhibition that focuses on bio-diversity, water, land stewardship, alternative transportation, and different ways to see the world around us. In addition to Ballengée and Weglicki, featured artists include Coriana Close, Maysey Craddock, Kaitlyn Dunn and David Horan.
