The Art Museum at the University of Memphis will tentatively reopen its doors by appointment on Tuesday, September 8.
AMUM’s latest exhibition, In 7, 6, 5… will be available for public viewing for the first time following its unveiling this past March.
In 7, 6, 5… focuses on bio-diversity, water, land stewardship, alternative transportation, and different ways to see the world around us. It features work by a range of artists including Brandon Ballengée, Coriana Close, Maysey Craddock, Kaitlyn Dunn, David Horan, and Catt Weglicki.
Following the September 8 reopening, the museum will allow scheduled visitation from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Due to limited capacity and social distancing measures, no more that ten visitors may be allowed in at a time.
