The College of Communication and Fine Arts’ 2019 Distinguished Achievement Award for the Performing and Creative Arts is April 2. Tom Shadyac, the acclaimed filmmaker who’s making a huge difference on the University of Memphis campus and in the city at large, is the honoree.
