In case anyone is interested, here is a Storify I created of my tweets from the Social Media Technology Conference & Workshop at Howard University. These tweets were from my first day only, as I presented the following day and was not able to really focus on tweeting.
Also, my presentation received coverage from DMV CEO and CEO Blog Nation. It’s just a brief write-up, but it was cool none the less!

Very cool Brittney. Your presentation was very informative…I agree. All companies need a social media policy. I like how you laid out the 6 overall concepts, S.C.U.M.B.L. Eye found the Business Use vs. Personal Use concept 2 be really important….Interesting tweet —-> “FB, Twitter, and YouTube main social media sources of info by African-Americans in Obama/McCain election” I didn’t know that…..Hey, what is the new news ecosystem?
Thanks for your feedback, Doug! Basically, the new news ecosystem is kinda like what we’ve been talking about in class with blogs and journalism and the long tail. There are a lot of entrepreneurial journalism websites popping up, challenging legacy media.
