Melinda S. Mosby (MSN ’13), MSN, PMHNP- BC, is a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.
My experience with COVID 19 was providing support to the mental health population at the Boston Hope Field Hospital in Boston Massachusetts. Our Task Force-1 supported Boston healthcare providers manage a 1000 bed facility. It was truly an example of what we can do when we come together for the good of everyone. Army Strong!
Currently, my family and I are adhering to CDC recommendations, hand washing, wearing mask, and staying six feet apart. My advice to everyone is to adhere to CDC recommendations; however, learn how to live in our new normal. The new normal has made us slow down and more aware!
