Congratulations to our Graduates!

The College of Arts and Sciences Advising Center staff congratulations the Fall 2014 graduates!  Sunday is your big day, so make sure you have noted all the details provided on the Commencement website: http://www.memphis.edu/commencement/

Be sure that all transcripts for any transfer work you completed this semester have been sent to the UM Admissions office by January 7 so that our office will be able to certify you as graduated!  Also, any courses for which you were given I (Incomplete) grades must be completed and graded by January 7 so that your degree can be certified.

So once again, congratulations on your great accomplishment, and GO TIGERS!

Schedule for Final Exams

You can find the schedule for final exams on the Registrar’s site: http://www.memphis.edu/registrar/calendars/exams/14f_final.php

I hope you will study smart for your exams:

S – Schedule time to study each exam and stick to your schedule!

M – Make adjustments to your schedule as needed to show up early for each exam.

A – Actively engage with your notes and text – don’t just read over your notes; organize them, make flashcards, create outlines or visuals.

R – Relieve stress by taking exercise or walking breaks, or other short rewards for studying.

T – Teach the material to someone else!  Teaching is the best way to learn.
