The students of Dr. Lauren Burrow‘s Emergent Literacy and Language Development course at the University of Memphis are working with selected Porter-Leath Head Start parents & families to create a community-based learning environment.
During their spring semester, these college students are working together on activities related to early literacy (songs, read-alouds, alphabet play, etc.) that can be used in the classroom and at home with these preschoolers.
