Greetings:
The Teacher Education Advisory Council met last Thursday and approved changes in TEP requirements which includes a two-phase admission policy. I will be contacting all candidates about the changes they face in August 2014. Any candidate that has been admitted to TEP or gets admitted to TEP under current policy prior to Fall Semester 2014 does not have to meet the new standards. Please note one action action also take by the Council is that any candidate removed from the residency program because of performance or professionalism issues will not be allowed to return via the MAT route.
