AMUM is hosting a Juried Student Wearable Arts design competition, runway show, and exhibition in partnership with the Fashion Design program. The project will challenge students to create a work of wearable art, under the guidance of University of Memphis Fashion Design and Merchandising professor Ramona Sonin Lee and celebrity designer Michael Ngo. The project will unfold during the Spring 2022 semester and culminate in a runway show, followed by an exhibition of the student’s works at the Art Museum of the University of Memphis. Students will receive a $200 stipend to help bring their design concept to life.
