Welcome to the UM3D: Instructional Impact Blog
The UM3D: Instructional Impact team provides instructional design support to faculty who teach on ground, hybrid, and online courses. Our goal is to guide instructors through the 3 Ds (design, development and delivery) of technology-enhanced instruction. Our team offers one-on-one consultations, group meetings and webinars, and departmental support in the following areas:
- course design and planning,
- instructional media and content development, and
- teaching in blended, hybrid, and online environments.
On our official University of Memphis UM3D webpage, you’ll find all the tools and forms you need to create great online M50 courses for Global, the university’s 100% online course and degree offerings.
In this blog, you’ll find our instructional “plus 1s”, where we highlight resources, ideas, best practices and inspiration to help all faculty create great courses, whether synchronous, asynchronous, hybrid or traditional face to face.
Our Instructional Designers and Media Specialist are available to consult with all UofM faculty. Just send us an email to set up a one-on-one appointment.
