The University of Memphis has a membership with the Online Learning Consortium (OLC). “OLC is a collaborative community of higher education leaders and innovators, dedicated to advancing quality and leadership in digital education.” The membership includes free access to many webinars, online conference presentations, and research as well as discounts for other programs.
Some of the offerings include:
- OLC Ideate is a free, collaborative, and dialogue-based virtual event.
- OLC Webinars are free upcoming and recorded webinars on a wide variety of teaching and learning topics.
- OLC’s Institute for Professional Development offers virtual learning opportunities for e-learning professionals at any stage of their career.
- Workshops utilize numerous proven teaching strategies and learning activities that will spark creative ideas for their own teaching environments.
