Coffee with an Instructional Designer Talks Cognitive Load Oct 30

Understanding Your Student’s Cognitive Load October 30, 2020 2:30pm

This week, join instructional designer Barrett Schwarz as he describes the leaner theory of cognitive load and how it relates to your online course.

Cognitive Load Theory states that because short-term memory is limited, learning experiences should be designed to reduce working memory ‘load’ in order to promote learning that focuses on what really matters.

Barrett will walk you though steps you can take to lower the cognitive load your course places on students, so your students focus on what really matters.

Register now via Zoom for Understanding Your Student’s Cognitive Load – Oct.30 @ 2:30pm
