Malvin Massey, General Manager of WUMR FM 91.7 and host of Spotlight 92 , taped a radio interview with Dr. Andre E. Johnson on the Memories of a Massacre: Memphis in 1866 Project. Dr. Johnson talked about the origins of the project and some of the upcoming events. He also suggested why an understanding of the massacre is so important for Memphis and the nation.
