Sharon McNary, a U of M alumna being recognized nationally for doing great work in local school leadership. Ms. McNary earned the BSED in Special Education (1983) and the Master of Education in Special Education and Rehabilitation (1986). Incidentally, she is principal of Richland Elementary where 2012-2013 Tennessee Teacher of the Year Allyson Chick teaches.
