Health Spaces and Technology Research Community2020-2021 Community of Research Scholars
The 2021 HSTRC will continue to pursue the goal set by the 2018-2019 HSTRC (the convener: Dr. Seok Won Jin) and the 2019-2020 HSTRC (the convener: Dr. Sohye Lee), “reducing health disparities among underserved populations in Memphis, TN.” The 2018-2019 HSTRC has focused on building interdisciplinary collaborations with university scholars and community partners. These collaborative efforts have established strong partnerships with Memphis public libraries and university scholars by successfully conducting community health outreach activities, including a community needs assessment, a senior health fair, and a guest speaker conference.
