Welcome to the University of Memphis!

As it approaches the first day of classes, we know that things can start to seem overwhelming. However, we are here to help with that.

Feeling lost around campus? Well, there are a couple of resources you can use to help you.

  1. Visit memphis.edu for an easily accessible map on your phone!
  2. The university also has an app. The app can be used for things such as campus news and event, but it also has a campus map. This map allows you to pinpoint your own location as well as pinpoint the location you’re going to. Click here to download the app, or search “UofMemphis” in the app store.

Don’t want to walk around campus? The university offers a few options if you are tired after a long day of work, or even need a faster way to your destinations.

  1. There are Blue Line shuttles with different routes that will take you where you need to go. The Blue Line will even take you to the Liberty Bowl for free! No need to worry about finding a parking spot. The Blue Line information site lists all of the different routes and stops, and if you want to track where the buses are, download the Blue Line mobile app!
  2. You can also rent a bike for $35 each semester you can need one. Visit Tiger Bike to learn more.

Wanting to be involved? Check out Tiger Zone. It has information on just about everything you need to know, from information for different organizations to dates and information on every event. Just click here to go to the webpage and sign in with your UUID and password.

In need of a job? On campus jobs are another great way to plug in while earning some money. Also, a lot of these on campus jobs tend to have flexible schedules. Here is a list of regular student positions that are in need of workers. Check back from time to time, as these positions change.

Wanting to give back? This is yet another way to get involved and meet people on campus. University of Memphis provides so many opportunities for service, such as Up ‘Til Dawn and Habitat for Humanity. Just click here for a list of service opportunities and information about them.

  • If you need to keep track of your service hours, there is an easy way to do so called “NobleHour.” It allows you to find the exact event you participated in and log your hours for it. This is where you submit scholarship service hours as well. Click this link to find instructions on how to access and use the website.
