Supersite +

You can access the Supersite Plus by clicking here or going to vhlcentral.com. This is where you do online homework/activities and view the vText (eBook version of our textbook). You can also see your online homework grade there (for your overall course grade, please go to the Grade section).

• If you need help accessing Supersite Plus, are having technical issues, or have a question about a specific exercise , see below. 
  • If you’re waiting for financial aid or a paycheck to come in, just let me know and I can give you a 2-week grace period so you can still enroll in our class on Supersite. That way, you can keep up with homework and everything we’re doing in the meantime, and then purchase Supersite access or the bundle as soon as you can.
  • If you have technical issues, please
    • try another browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) or
    • restart your device. These two help in many cases.
    • If not, please contact Supersite support by phone at 1-800-248-2813, by live chat here or here.
    • If those don’t work and Supersite support also didn’t help you, please contact me.
    • Note: If you have a device that doesn’t do Flash, for example iPhone and iPad, you may have to complete recording exercises on another device (for example a friend’s computer, the computers in the Language Media Center — Jones 220 open certain hours during the day Mon-Fri.).
  • If you have a question about an exercise before you finish it, or after you finish it, you can submit a help request/score review directly on the Supersite.

Don’t have Supersite Plus access yet? Please see your options below

1. You already used the Supersite Plus for FREN 1010 in Fall 2016
   • You don’t have to buy anything new! All you have to do is log in on http://vhlcentral.com just like you did last semester, click on « Enroll in a course », and then scroll down to select our course for this semester under Espaces: O’Neill, Errol FREN1020 002 & 004. That’s it!

   • Note: If you have a device that doesn’t do Flash, you may have to complete recording exercises on another device (for example a friend’s computer, the computers in the Language Media Center — Jones 220 open certain hours during the day Mon-Fri.).
2. You haven’t bought access yet? Here’s the info below:

• Everyone needs the Supersite Plus for Espaces, 3rd edition. There are three options for getting what you need from that website or elsewhere. Please visit Vista Higher Learning’s U of M French store http://tinyurl.com/get-espaces-um to see our textbook and choose one of these options:
  • OPTION ONE — Just Supersite Plus ($160): If you have a device that you can view the Supersite Plus on in class every day, you can just buy access to the Supersite Plus: you don’t need to have the paper textbook unless you want it. Access lasts three years and costs $150.
  • OPTION TWO — Bundle (Supersite Plus and looseleaf textbook) ($189): If you don’t have a device that you can view the SuperSite Plus on in class, or you’d like a paper textbook you can keep/sell later, you can buy the bundle (Supersite Plus AND textbook). It currently only costs $39 more than just the Supersite Plus alone.
  • OPTION THREE — Supersite Plus and separate textbook (cost varies): You don’t have to buy directly from the publisher. You can use the info on the link above to get the right material(s) — just Supersite Plus, or Supersite Plus AND textbook — from the campus bookstore or other retailers. If you find the textbook for rent or used cheaper than $29, you may want to go this route.
