This is the blog I have created for the blogging assignments I have chosen to do for us instead of giving you more traditional homework assignments. We will be using this blog to discuss current news, trends, research, and public matters concerning Human Anatomy and Physiology. I hope this will be a great new forum for us to discuss topics that matter to us and to Society that are related to the materials we are covering in class. I’m new to blogging, so many of you likely have much more experience than me. That being said please, please, please let me know what I can do to make this blogging assignment a success by letting me know how I can improve things or if I am doing thing wrong. Well that’s enough for now. Let’s use this tool to explore the societal relevance of anatomy and physiology. Off we go…..
I’ve had a little experience with blogging. In my twelvth grade english class we were assigned a different blog every week. I think that it is a fairly easy assignment.
Blogging taking the place of homework is an excellent idea. I for one hate homework but doing something like this would be simple and not too much time consuming. Considering that A&P is a difficult class and we would need the extra time to study.
In my opinion I feel that the way you are teaching isn’t too demanding. To me doing work like this gives plenty of time to think on it and get it done. I like the blogging idea and I’m pretty sure it will turn out fine.
Thanks, it is my hope that everyone will enjoy the assignment and, as you said, use the extra time saved by not doing homework to study hard for the tests because the material is vast and often difficult. I’m glad you are in agreement that blogging could be a great alternative to traditional homework assignments and hope desperately that it works out as I have envisioned. However, only time will tell.
