Scuba Diving: History

SCUBA diving is one type of diving underwater using self-contained underwater breathing apparatus ‘SCUBA’. Divers carry their own source of oxygen underwater, unlike the other types of diving like the free-diving or apnea in which a diver holds his breath inside the lungs.  History Timeline: Several centuries ago, the  Assyrian soldiers used goatskin floats when crossing rivers during wars.
