Call for Proposals: Religious Communication Association, an affiliated organization of NCA

2024 NCA Convention, New Orleans, Louisiana

From the president of the Religious Communication Association, Andre E. Johnson:

The Religious Communication Association (RCA) welcomes submissions for its first-ever Works in Progress sessions at the 2024 RCA conference, held on November 20, 2024, at the Hilton Garden Inn in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our Works in Progress sessions allow authors to share information about their research in an informal, conversational style and receive feedback during the project’s early stages. Proposals in this format will be evaluated based on their potential to generate discussions that advance the field of religious communication and provide opportunities to exchange feedback.

If you want to present your work at the 2024 RCA conference in one of our Works in Progress sessions, please email a 100-word abstract to Dr. Annette Madlock at annettemadlock@gmail.com. If your submission is selected, you will be expected to register for the conference (if you haven’t already done so). The early bird registration discount will apply to those participating in the Works in Progress sessions. The submission deadline is November 4, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
