AMUM to host 38th Annual Juried Student Exhibition

The Art Museum of the University of Memphis will host the 38th Annual Juried Student Exhibition this Sunday, April 18, from 2 to 4 PM. The event will kick off with a lecture from juror Rehema Barber, with award announcements to follow.

Rehema C. Barber is the Chief Curator for the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts (KIA). Formerly, Barber was the Director and Chief Curator of the Tarble Arts Center at Eastern Illinois University and has also worked for various institutions such as: University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s School of Art + Design (UIUC), University of Memphis, Memphis College of Art, Power House Memphis, The Amistad Center at the Wadsworth Athenueum Museum of Art, where she has taught and lectured extensively.

This year, three participants will receive the Barber Williams Memorial Juror’s Award and $100. To view the entries of featured artists, visit instagram.com/uofm_art.
