The University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music is pleased to welcome the award-winning British vocal ensemble, the Gesualdo Six.
Praised for their imaginative programming and impeccable blend, the ensemble formed in 2014 for a performance of Gesualdo’s Tenebrae Responsories in Cambridge and has gone on to perform at numerous major festivals across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.
The ensemble frequently integrates educational work into its activities, regularly holding workshops for young musicians and composers. The School of Music invites you to join us for the Gesualdo Six Artist in Residency.

7:30 PM The University of Memphis University Singers presents “Sleep,” featuring the Gesualdo Six along with Hernando High School Choirs
- This concert will consist of Hernando High School opening the concert, followed by the UofM University Singers, ending with the Gesualdo Six with a 45-minute set.
