Start your Parents’ Weekend on a High Note!
The Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music invites you to our lunchtime Pop-Up Percussion concert on the terrace of the new Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center featuring our Percussion Studio. After the performance, enjoy a tour of this new state-of-the-art performing arts center. This is free and open to the public event – no registration is required.

Cheer on the Tigers with the Mighty Sound of the South Marching Band
Grab your pom-poms and head to Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium as the Tigers take on the North Texas Mean Green! The Mighty Sound of the South Marching Band will fire up the crowd on Tiger Lane with the Tiger Walk 2.5 hours before kick-off and again with a pep-rally 45 minutes before kick-off. Make sure to grab your popcorn early because this is a halftime performance you won’t want to miss.
Online registration is required to attend Family Weekend events. To register, families must purchase an individual package for each person planning to attend.
Registration will close on Monday, September 12.
